complex con activation

to celebrate their show “the shop”, hbo wanted to create a fully immersive pop-up activation at 2018’s long beach complex con. our team decided to create a live action version of the show by building out a replica of a nyc style barber shop - complete with a fully functioning barber shop. we also had real conversations with celebs who stopped by for a line up like nas, tinashe, big boy, and more. we also activated giveaways and had influencers like shiggy walk around the floor to bring in more traffic. finishing it off was custom swag including pins, tote bags, shirts, and a take home mens shave kit.
