the big silly trivia game

the big silly trivia game is an online weekly pop culture trivia game for gen z women. what started as a small 20 minute weekly show with 10 players and the host filming from their kitchen table, quickly expanded into a new york based studio where we filmed live and upwards of 700 players joined via zoom each wednesday night for 30-45 minutes. beginning in february 2024 and over the course of three seasons we provided up to 100 special prizes donated by brands that players could win based on answering 25 pop culture focused questions. the game is absolutely free to join, but we engaged brand partners relevant to our target audience including vogue, soft services, spotify and nike. we also developed merch for purchase by our loyal members.


responsibilities

develop the each season’s overarching theme & episode schedule

create weekly episodic themes for 10-15 episodes per season

25 questions based on pop culture trivia for each game

write the script & manage run of show for each game

ideate and run the after show each week

developing custom playlists that coordinate to the weekly theme

work with team to put on live trivia events for branded partners

oversee production intern

manage the zoom live production each week

leading the points and loyalty program

data analysis of our target audience

assist in social media content creation

consult on weekly prizes and branding

act as “the boss” in the group chat during each live show interacting with viewers

write copy for weekly text messages pushing people to attend
